EAST WINDSOR — Voters will come to a decision whether or not the city need to post an application for a grant for a community middle job at a city assembly on Thursday.
Through a specific conference on Wednesday, Board of Selectmen voted to authorize Very first Selectman Jason Bowsza to post a Group Investment decision Fund grant software for the $5 million venture.
Bowsza stated that the resolution will now be mentioned and voted on during Thursday’s city assembly, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall for the duration of the board of selectmen meeting, which starts off at 7 p.m.
While the city has to use for the full $5 million that the challenge will price, state resources will not exceed $3.8 million. The Board of Finance has previously established aside $1.2 million in a money nonrecurring money account for cover the relaxation of the cost.
The task would mix the Town Hall Annex and the Senior Heart into just one facility at the Scout Hall developing.
The completion of this undertaking would outcome in extra room for individuals of all ages in East Windsor.
Bowsza said the community will also have the possibility to give their input on the project at the conference.
Even so, inhabitants would not vote on the overall job until the Nov. 8 referendum.
