Tech Center students take top 4 spots in regional competition

HOLLAND — A quartet of pupils from the Careerline Tech Center’s Diesel/Hefty Products Mechanics method took the top rated four spots in a regional competitiveness lately.

The pupils competed in the Regional SkillsUSA Diesel Devices Technology competitors at Lansing Community School Friday, Feb. 25, and concluded atop the standings.

Caleb Bouchard from Coopersville Large Faculty gained very first location, homeschooled student Christopher Carpin took second position, Randal Fletcher from West Ottawa Large Faculty brought home third put and homeschooled pupil Caleb Prince took fourth place.

The prime three regional winners transfer on to the State Degree Diesel Gear Technological know-how competitors on Saturday, April 9, in Grand Rapids.

“This team has generally needed to master at the best degree and would often guide other individuals in the class,“ Diesel/HEM teacher Keven Wiersma mentioned. “These 4 younger gentlemen are very deserving of this tough-gained recognition and we are fired up to check out them compete at the subsequent amount.”
