Tech groups spending millions to block sweeping Big Tech bill

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) — Factors are heating up around a sweeping Massive Tech bill that supporters argue would market competition and provide down customer prices on the internet.

But Major Tech groups are sounding the alarm. They argue the strategy will because of just the opposite.

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., stated that the bill is designed to enable shoppers by stopping corporations like Apple, Google or Amazon from squashing competitors on the net.

“The bill is professional-level of competition and it’s typical sense,” Klobuchar stated. “The world’s largest platforms should not be authorized to copy small businesses’ non-public info and then develop their very own knock-off merchandise.”
