Application process now open, including for final round at Augusta National

The application process for tickets to the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur is open.

Applications can be submitted online June 8-21, according to Augusta National Golf Club.

An international field of 72 women amateurs will be competing in the tournament.

The first two rounds are played over two days, March 29 and 30, at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, with the top 30 players advancing to the final round on April 1 at Augusta National Golf Club.

Tickets for all rounds will be awarded in advance and a maximum of 2 tickets per applicant will be considered, according to Augusta National.

There is no charge for tickets to the first two rounds, but final-round tickets will set you back $100 each.

Applicants will be notified via email in late July after the selection process is completed and tickets will be mailed in mid-March, the club said.

The 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur is scheduled for March 29 to April 1.

Where is the Augusta National Women’s Amateur played?

An international field of 72 women amateurs will play the first two rounds March 29 and 30 at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, with the top 30 players advancing to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on April 1.

The entire field is invited to play a practice round at Augusta National on March 31.

Who won the ANWA 2022?

In her first appearance in the tournament, Spring Valley, Calif., native and high school sophomore Anna Davis won the 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur with a 3-under-par 69 to finish as the lone player under par at 1 under.

“I’m still a little shocked. I don’t think it’s processed yet that I’ve won here,” said Davis. “It’s pretty surreal to be honest. I’m speechless. I can’t even fathom what just happened. It all happened very quickly.”
